@achewood I had to look up how pi is derived. It has been sixteen years since the SAT, yet still, I feel very ashamed

Anyway, the strip's good, but the sudden stylistic change was really whiplashy. It's all... well... light and sketchy again. How bizarre.

Well, it's not that light.  I mean, Ray is in HELL!

Well, I meant in terms of background -- we suddenly have white background instead of black, for example. But, yes, the impact of HELL should not be underestimated.

(Edit: Post 555. So close... and yet so far...)

Heh!  Ray's hat has a feather in it.  I wonder if he's wearing lederhosen...

Yes, I didn't see it as a pimpin' hat, but rather an Alpen-type-yodeling-lederhosen-wearing hat.  I was wondering if it was part of Ray's sentence in Hell to wear this hat, or whether it was part of his ordinary travelling outfit.

I think probably the latter.

Ray's hat is somehow perfect. I'm not sure why.

Lederhosen hats confuse and disturb me.

Agreed. This is funnier than the actual storyline could've been. It would probably be like Ray misquoting statistics and generally making no sense.

The hat reminded me of the pimp that chases Homer in The City of New York vs. Homer Simpson. But then there's the backpack which almost makes it seem like he was out hiking and accidently wandered in.

Satan is the Prince of Darkness right? So he rides around in a carriage drawn by the damned with the harness bolted to their bones and hooked directly to the flesh. And people have to lie in front of him to make a human road for the spiked tires. The sides are made from tanned skins and so forth.

No, that's obviously a pimp hat, especially in context. The other is quite definitely a lederhosen hat.

(My roommate tutors a guy who walks around campus in one of those lederhosen hats basically all day. The rest of us have started calling the kid "Johann" behind his back.)

At least he's not wearing a crown; I can imagine Ray dying from getting his bone on, what with all the sour cream he eats.

CortJstr, which epsiode did Crow say that?

Okay, I was going to join this forum because I wanted to order a cookbook and was all scared that Onstad was some sort of secret crazy that did all sorts of research on you if you placed an order and delayed it accordingly -

then I was going to join because I had this conversation on the phone with my girlfriend (who is, admittedly slowly, working her way through the archives) and she refused to believe that Pat is a dick -

but this takes the cake, people.

You have never watched The Price is Right.

You have never seen the little mountain climbing man, with his hat and knapsack and low budget accoutrements.

This is straight up Camus here people

EDIT: WHY DOES THIS MACHINE MAKE THE WORDS ALL GERMAN
