(Inspired by Ruta Bagas' game thread)
The purpose of each round is to close a circle, making the
first element that appeared in the round
be also the last. Whoever manages to close the circle wins, and has the right to propose the next round. An example (colors are only to help understanding the different elements of each link):
player a: "
Dostoevsky's father was a doctor, like - "
(next person must provide another link to the chain, offering the name of someone who shares the previously mentioned characteristic - real or fictional people - while at the same time saying something
else about this second link:)
player b: "- like
Bruce Wayne,
who is an expert in martial arts, like - "
player c: "- like
Chuck Norris,
who has a beard, like -"
player d: "...Like
Dostoevsky!"
So, in the example above, player d wins, having closed the circle. If you have a perfect chain of links to offer (say, three people at once) that will close the circle, you can do so - actually, if we were to compute points, this would be a good way of getting extra points. If your chain of say three people
doesn't manage to close the circle, then you can only use the first person in the link, as you would, normally.
I'll begin this tentative round:
"
Aeschylus, who was killed by a turtle dropped in his head, like -

Ok, for realz now, starting easy:
Socrates had a pot belly, like -
