guitar raffle for American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life
« on: April 11, 2010, 05:48:21 am »
Hey y'all
I hope this is not considered spam...

You don't know them, but let me introduce some friends of mine: Team Josie, sponsored by Vintage Guitar magazine.  They are raffling a fine looking guitar to benefit the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life.

If you wanna small chance at an almost free guitar, want to give $50 to help out the American Cancer Society, or are working on developing a gambling addiction, then this is for you:

PayPal called.  (or e-mailed) Apparently you're not allowed to use paypal for raffles or gambling or the like.  Bummer.  That's okay though, since using Paypal for that seemed extremely risky to me anyway.  What happens if someone buys a bunch of tickets with a stolen credit card, or someone gets irate and tries to charge back the purchase.  I've heard lots of horror stories along these lines from merchants who used Paypal.

Anyone know any credit card processor that would allow using their service for a raffle for charity?
