When I lived in England as a kid, we went to see a civil war re-enactment (English Civil War, that is) one weekend.  It was a blazing hot summer day, and afterwards one of the exhausted Roundhead warriors was walking off the field when a guy dressed as a wizard walked past with a tray from the nearby pub, offering beer to the reenactors.  The thirsty soldier cried "Ah, beer!", grabbed a mug and took an almighty swig.  However, he had neglected to remove his helmet first, so the mug stopped dead upon hitting the visor, while the beer carried on to drench him.  It was hilarious.
