The Tech Staff is not on social media but he knows some of the imaginary friends from my stories. He knows the "the girl who lived in Alaska" too because Alaska appeals to him. He knows "the artcar guy" but for some reason seems to think he is a suspicious sort of internet person. Oh, and he remembers JL as Number Two.

Of course this isn't much different from how he thinks of people I know in real life. He can't tell my reptile keeper friends apart unless they have a very good epithet in his mind, like "the iguana washing lady" and "the bitter man."

An "iguana washer" sounds like some sort of euphemism.  Although I frequently repeat Heinlein's assertion that 90% of all "scientists" are bottle washers and cap sorters.

Last week my daughter was walking the new (to her) pony from the paddock to a stall, and he a) knocked her over and b) stepped on her hand. He's a shitbag. Fortunately nothing was broken, and the episode hasn't put her off hosss (she hasn't ridden since, but it's only been a week, and she needs a little time to recover). Hopefully she learns to be a little more careful and less happy-go-lucky when walking a pony with such poor ground manners. Shove that chumpy over and show him who's boss.

Our black lab/shepherd mix loves to chew on one of our cats. Surprisingly, the cat loves to be chewed and requests it most days.
