It means that guy got points for something atypical of the position.  A good example is if an offensive player makes a tackle after a turnover, he gets 1 point for that.

If you go to your matchup page, you should be able to click on the score for anyone who is so starred, and it'll tell you what the extra points came from.

Ah.  Thank you, that makes perfect sense.  I tried clicking on it on the "My Team" page and it just went back to My Team.  Which wasn't helpful at all.

I had five of them to look at, so I was wondering what was up.

Also, some people don't know (or don't care) that the bye weeks have started.

Why, the Chargers got rid of him in rare example of foresight.  That should be a crown jewel in the GM's crown. (or head of player personnel - whatever).

Or is that more "grudge fuck"?

Tangentially related to a discussion of Eli Manning: Shawne Merriman has played his last game as a San Diego Charger.

In my other league (also on Yahoo), I lost last week by 8 one-hundredths of a point.  That's .08.  What the fuck is that, half a yard?  I blame Brett Favre.

At this point, everything bad in football is Favre's fault. Fuck THAT guy.

Seriously.  Does Cort's insult generator have "dong photographer" on it?  It should.  If he hadn't fumbled handing off to Purple Jesus a couple times (I have AP on that team too), he'd have gained two more yards and I'd have won.

Those aren't forged skanks, they're real skanks.

They've been smelted and forged. Possibly even tempered.
