Also newly in the Paramount Vault youtube account is "North Dallas 40." Infamous among my friends in St Louis because when we were in college they were throwing out all of the old Film Club's stuff. All of the cool movie posters had been taken, but a friend got the North Dallas 40 poster because of the inscrutable tagline: "Wait 'til You See The Weird Part."

That's a pretty good movie as I recall. Full of 70s debauchery.

Hell yes! Orson Welles is a genius. Once, back in the early days of this board I went off on some folks for dragging Orson Welles through the mud about his frozen peas fiasco. I wish I could find it, that was a quality rant.

I went to see a showing of The Decalogue at the Philly Film Festival-- 10 movies, each an hour long, about the 10 commandments. It was awesome! Some were sad, some were scary, some were violent, some were restrained, and one was really funny and fun. 12 hours including breaks was a long time to be in one place, but totally worth it.

If they're available individually somewhere, I really recommend the last one. It's about two estranged brothers who inherit a valuable stamp collection from their father. Some really great gags, definitely the one I'd most want to watch again.

The first one made me ugly-cry and have to cover my mouth so nobody heard. It was incredibly well made but I have a hard recommending it to people after it made me that upset.
