@achewood Alright, America. I'm playing the underpants and pants game. If just for one more day.

I'm kind of sad, and afraid. I had got used to the idea that Achewood was gone forever. What if he hurts again?

Strip was kind of bleh too, but he gets some lee-way because it's practically a blog post excusing his absence.

Well, I chuckled.  I had to check my fridge for giggling money.

Shut up.

I loved it. I like it when they break the fourth wall, or whatever wall it is in a comic strip, once in a while, and this seemed like just the correct moment.

Daddy's home, with some half-formed explanations about where he's been, booze on his breath and urine stains on his #####, a sheepish expression in his eyes. We'll see how long he stays this time, but we'll enjoy it while it lasts.

Teodor is looking at his hands in the first panel like... like he was disembodied all this time and now he can see his hands again. But Ray spent the hiatus wandering the streets. I don't know, I guess maybe that makes sense.

At this point I would be happy if he stuck to his once a month schedule.

I love wombat's theory that when they aren't regularly updating, the Achewood characters are in some tortured barely-even-ethereal floating limbo hell, sort of like the exorcised ghosts in BEETLEJUICE.

I'll go with that.
