Banana Town 7, Debauched Sloths 3.
Mixed Pickles 6, Fun on Mars 4.
Fifth place: Oakey Blues 7, Derp 2.

Banana Town vs. Mr. Mixed Pickles for the champeenship. Sloths and Mars for third place. This one goes through the end of the regular season, next Wednesday the 28th rather than Sunday. Good luck all.

3 home runs for Prince Fielder yesterday? Well, shit. I'm about ready to concede this thing.

It seems that the me who SELECTS players for the roster is pretty good at this but the me who picks which of the guys to start each day keeps fuck*ng him over and keeps this close.

My GM skills are being undermined by my managerial skills and I'm hoping I can still squeak this out, leading in most of the categories but leading them by a wisp going into the last day.

We'll see.

Yeah, at least the pain of falling from 2nd to 4th is assuaged by the Cardinals' amazing run to pick up the wild card.

Congrats Smets!

Nice job, LFM. Well-deserved.

That's my second silver medal in four years, with a third-place finish in there too. Always a bridesmaid, never a bride.

So the Braves and Red Sox missed the playoffs in heartbreaking fashion?  What a shame.

A damn shame. Tragic, really.

So is it playoff time then?  Alright.  Does anybody have any favorite teams in the show?

My favorite team didn't even get close, but my second favorite team is in. Tomorrow night it happens to be the Tigers, but depending how they do it could be a different team in the ALCS.

What Ash said.

Once the Nats are over and done, I revert to my old Philly-fan ways.
