I guess this show I've been watching is pretty popular, a friend just told me to watch it…anyone seen The Jinx?  I don't know why, or if, I like it?  That guy is real creepy.

Just watched the first season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt. Expectations were low. Thought it would be a low rent Sex in the City or Poor Man's Girls, but it was nothing like that. Very funny and completely weird.

Re-watching The Office, damn is this show good. I will go to bat for US Office over UK Office any day. You can like mean sad-sack Gervais all you want, but it ain't my bag.

Plus, Jim and Pam, goddamn.

I like the American version of the Office. I never watched it regularly, but I caught an episode on occasion. I've never seen the British version, but I have seen Gervais in other things and think he's pretty brilliant.

Netflix's Marvel's Daredevil was watchable, but lost a lot of steam towards the end. The Kingpin was a disappointment, lots of mugging I mean acting and then the whole thing just petered out.

Now I'm watching Silicon Valley. I enjoy it. It is not helping with my recent feeling that I should have pursued my technology interests. I don't think I would ever be a primarily technology guy, but it sure seems like being fluent in those skills can take you places.

the movie critic on NPR the other day said essentially the same thing.

Jesus fuck, Paul. Thanks for the Bojack call out. I watch another couple of episodes every time the family goes do some shit I ain't into. Fuck yeah, Bojack.

Maybe I'll give it another try.  I got through an episode and half and didn't feel compelled to pick it back up.

We're gradually working on cord-cutting -- my buddy made me get a souped up android box for the big TV and turned me on to hell of free streaming tv and movies.  It gets variable results, but it's free after the initial investment, and when I'm paying upwords of $125 a month for DirecTV I can be a little patient with its occasional oddness.

We've started watching Justified -- I think we're 3 episode in, so we've got a ways to go.  Seems pretty good so far, but they do the Elmore Leonard thing where the tone of dialog can be completely unrelated to the surrounding action.  Guy's all smiling and talking about meat loaf or how their dads went to school together while they're swinging tire irons at each other's heads.

As a mean ass piece of work trying to reform, Bojack hossman is a goddam treasure.

They keep advertising it all over the place which makes me think it's not faring well in the ratings. I hope it finds an audience so they keep making it.

Jesus, the Inevs of the world are probably to blame, but I would rather watch 100 shitty sitcoms with canned laughter than any more shows that are focused on rape, murder, torture, etc.

Whenever I am home in NC someone is watching a show at full blast where someone is screaming in pain or anguish or crying. Whyyyy.

Give me the sad cartoon hoss. I can deal with the sad cartoon hoss having feelings about being sad, or a cartoon, or a hoss.

That cartoon hoss show is so good. My sister and I watched the whole second season this week and developed a whole ritual of weirdly wave-dancing around the room during the opening theme, singing along to the closing theme, and glancing at each other knowingly whenever there was a drug joke.

"I punched a mirror because I thought it was another dog and got scared" made me laugh so, so hard.

Rick and Morty hasn't reached Netflix yet, but I was able to find some episodes on YouTube. It's fantastic. I kinda love the big sister. She  needs to get more airtime. The dad is hilarious too.

I don't know how awesome I think this final scene is because the scale for measuring it has yet to be invented.

Heyyyyy, are they trying to sneak a positive message in there.

Hey Paul, Adult Swim has every episode up for streaming. You haveta put up with commercials and it's SD but...free...all.

Fuck Yes. Thanks man.

Also, 53 signs your boyfriend is actually 3 children in a trenchcoat. Thanks Buzzfeed.
