American Elf, going out with style and dignity.
« on: December 22, 2012, 04:25:47 am »
I know a few of you are also fans of American Elf, so in case you aren't up to speed, this daily diary comic is coming to an end after 14 years, and I wanted to note that Kochalka is going out with style and dignity.  Both in the comic and on his forum, he is saying good-bye poignantly, and in a way that feels right to me, as a reader who has been with him all the long.

Awesome. I like this comic. I did not know it was ending. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.

Well, if you'd like to read a strip a day for the next fourteen years, you're set.  Kochalka is the anti-Onstad in a lot of ways, consistency being one.  Healthy relationships with his readers is another.
