Yea?  Nay?  Maybe?

It's about time to get a draft scheduled.

Count me in.  I have a daughter agitating for team this year as well.  I'll see if I can get my wife to co-captain it for her to avoid any suspicions of collusion.

We've got seven players -- we need an even number to set the draft date.  Who's the holdout?

My 11 year old is petitioning hard to get a FF team.  I promise no collusion if you will accept her application, other than teaching her how to play and talking football in general with her.

Oops. That was probably me. I don't really check email anymore. Fixed.

And I'm totally cool with Jaydub's kid joining up. But I think that means we'll need another team now.

My daughter wants to play too, so that gives us 10.  Jaydub, can you get your daughter sign up tomorrow, I'll do the same and we can get a draft scheduled.

Next topic -- Nabu doesn't like having two QB's.  I don't have a very strong opinion either way, but I do think that using two results in a scarcity of good replacement QBs if something happens to your first one.  If we just use one each, that'll be the top ten QB's in play, leaving another 5 or 6 decent ones if you have an injury or something.  If you use two per team, only the bottom 10 are left over.  Also, higher scoring which is flashy.

Thoughts? I am not tied to any particular set up.

There didn't seem to be a way to join a private league from the main yahoo page.  Maybe you need to send her an invite? I'll pm you her email address.

Can we skip Fantasy football and do Magical Realism football this year instead? I'd like my team to ACTUALLY be the 49'ers, but I want them to cry tears during away games that bring back haunting memories of childhood friends and events from long ago. This will symbolize their longing for their childhood homes and preference for home games.

Yes, but it puts us at an odd number.  Find one more player and you're both in.
