The Baby Onstad is very cute, but to send her presents would be... crossing a line?

The best present is privacy. It's cheap, lasts forever on a tank of gas and is basically like treasure.

Actually, that child is no more or less cute than other children whose pictures have been posted here. I have no child-cuteness evaluation program.

Last visit to the parents, my mother, as she if oft to do, stuck a picture of some random baby under my nose - my reaction was to recoil in horror "dear god, that's and ugly baby!" I exclaimed - partly because the baby was unattractive, but mostly because I am tired of my mom showing me random pictures of baby's belonging to people I don't even know as a means of hinting that she desparatly wants me to reproduce (good luck with that, mom.).   Oops - it was my ugly cousin's ugly baby.  My mom was not impressed, but it was a damn ugly baby.

Onstad's baby is well costumed - good to see he's enforcing those gender roles early.

Son of Rodney = Sorod

Daughter of Onstad = Daustad?  Put a couple of dots over some of the vowells and you could have an OK German metal band there.

Happy birthday kid, good luck with the really weird dad.

a couple of months ago, at my girlfriend's house, I said "oh liz, you were such a cute baby." To which she responded "oh, how do you know?". "That picture in the den?"

It was her dad, ladies and gentlemen. It was a picture of her dad as a baby.

Imagine if you will, 20 or so years from now little.. hell we don't know her name so let's call her something we know it probably isn't; Little Desdemona Onstad stumbles around on the net searching for old things of dear old Dad.  This site, though completely decimated in the Webcomic Wars of 2015, is archived through various hypertextual technologies in the future.

She stumbles upon a bunch of random imaginary people wishing her Happy Birthday but does not understand why.  She frantically searches the rest of the site and finds out that her sweet Daddoo used to write about cats in thongs and that his fans were all a bunch of zealotry-riddled freaks.

I think maybe then a tear comes to her eye.  Then she gets over it because it's 2026 and that's when the cyborgs start to invade.  And they're knocking on her door.

Happy Birthday Kid.  I hope those Cyborgs don't get you.

Current baby status, 3/21:
Do you read tea leaves or chicken giblets? Let me know if the baby’s future husband was born today. I have this weird feeling.
