If the pope falls in the woods, does he only cry if someone sees him?

Now there's just no point to that.

[Doc]

No point because it's an obvious question or because he's using the internet to mock the attention-based responses of toddlers?

You're overthinking it.

She won't let us brush her hair, so just picture a tiny Janis Joplin with chocolate milk instead of Southern Comfort and you're ninety percent there.

Best toddler update ever.

Get her started on identifying cubic zirconia now. This could prove very useful to her down the road.

Strange coincidence.  She got a prize for filling up her attendance card at Speech Therapy class.  After rejecting such clutter as Troll dolls, a bunny pen and Polly Pocket, she settled on a pretty gold (colored paper) box with a heart pendant.  The pendant had a nicely mounted cubic zirconia in it.  That being a mouthful, she decided to call it a gem.

Lady and the Tramp continuity error no. 4: In the sequence where they sell the muzzle to the beaver with the speech impediment, Tramp is wearing a wristwatch.

That's the 900th post in the Baby Update thread, people.

maybe we have discussed this before, but none of these scenes actually happen in the movie.

She graduated from preschool and ate a foil-topped tub of fake grape jam at the unremarkable family restaurant.

Locally you only graduate from pre-school when old enough to move on to Kindergarten, so I was a little confused by this at first, thinking Onstad had some crazy baby genius.  I guess maybe you graduate from pre-school every year in the US?

[wombat]

It is my understanding that American schools now leap at every possible excuse for a graduation ceremony.

Indeed. I know of kids who had a graduation when they finished up the first stage of pre-school (two days a week) then again for the 2nd stage (3 days a week). Then of course kindergarten needs a graduation because it's the first time they're in school all day. Then there's 5th and 8th grades, because you move up to another school after that.
