Current kid status, 6/24: She missed the "wiener national" dachshund races at the county fair, but caught a Martin Yan demo and a few brand-new black baby sheep with umbilical cords like pink bucatini.

That is the grossest description ever. The umbilical cords that I've seen are blue. I don't wanna think about it.

We dropped some stuff off in San Francisco for an 'art show' of sorts, and she had her 83rd consecutive meal of french fries at 'Burger Joint' on Valencia.

this guy I heard interviewed on NPR talked about how at one point in the mid 60s his mom decided that she wanted them to start being Irish. it was pretty silly of a story.
