Oh, I get it now.

I called sideshow a bitch.  Let it be known that I am not of the opinion that she is a bitch.  I just thought it would be funny to make an angry little reply at that point; unfortunately I forget that I don't have any cred in this forum yet, so as far as anyone knows, I'm just a little asshole with nothing better to do than insult people over the interweb.

I'm a jocular guy-- a japester, if you will.  Just ask anyone who knows me.

So I grovel at your feet and ask for forgiveness.  And where did you get those shoes?  They're to die for!

Is that like a pair before the actual pair? Some kind of a priori pair?

Also, when I think of the word "pair" I think of someone saying "nice pair" which makes me think of breasts.

Also, note that pretty much everything makes me think of naked women.

Wow, now Jough has his own personal peepulation. Because that's how he rolls.

I totally don't get most concepts of beauty. Fake boobs are nasty, plucked (or god forbid, threaded) eyebrows look ridiculous, and don't even get me started on fuzzy boots, giant sunglasses, and floppy hats. What's really depressing how many women I see at the mall where my first reaction is "how about a little face to go with that makeup?"

You know what I find most ridiculous?  Women who shave off their eyebrows completely and then paint them back on.  They constantly look surprised.

Agreed, of course, on all the silly-looking trends.  Walking around campus I want to punch basically everyone for how god damned foolish they look.

i recently reread a phillip k dick anthology and was grotesquely amazed at what a horrible writer he was, but what good stories he came up with.

anyways, he has this story that is set in the FUTURE where people had become so aclimatized to the adverts of nice teeth and deodorant and whatnot that society had broken down to two separate political parties: one for the removal of sweat glands, the perfectness of hair, and the artificial whitening of teeth and the other party for, um, i guess being slobs.

they would beat each other up, and stuff.  i really don't think he was a good writer.  his dialogue is painful.  anyways.

sometimes i feel an irrational need to put on deodarant, and sometimes i see someone who has plucked their eyebrows off and then drawn them back on with a pencil and i want to break something, like fred durst's head.

does anyone else watch America's Next Top Model?  that show is, um, something.  anyways, they have(had? not watched in a couple weeks) a normally sized human being contestant this time.

at one point, one of the criticisms for that contestant by the panel was that she was trying to act like a skinny model.  the main model chick was all "when you interviewed, you were all 'i'm me, and i'm happy yada yada', why are you all acting like you are somehting you are not where is the person i met yada yada".

everything else aside, which is a lot given the nature of the show i know, i think that's pretty telling on the state of "beauty" in our society.

someone who is comfortable enough with their non-standard model body goes on to a modelling contest show and is all "i'm comforable with my body!!!" yet when the crunch comes down and she starts doing modelling stuff, she's not all that comfortable with her body.

me? i shower with a blind-fold on.
