Yeah, looking at the threads that remained it's apparent that the dude running that board is actually earnest in just keeping it a Seattle Trashspotting fan site, and it looks like it could be sorta fun.  I'll probably even link to it in the soon to be coming Touamb Unofficial Links thingie.  I guess some others co-opted it to poke fun at us - probably some of the old Dumbrellaites that for whatever reason never made the transition here.  Or did, and weren't exactly welcomed because they were assholes.

Seriously, any kind of computer magic where you would substitute numbers for letters in conversation is not called for, and I'm doubting any toumbs of official nature would condone that.

Also: You seem to ask "Why am I registered here" a lot.  Well, twice.  Which, as that question being the meat of post #1 and #11, is a lot.

I'M FORGETFUL, OK?!

Sheesh.

The dumb part is that it doesn't even sound like jough.

I registered on there, not that I think anybody on the internet would bother to imitate me. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, so maybe jough is cooler than all of us now.

I thought the message board was a cool idea, especially if all the characters register. It would be kind of like the blogs except even more ridiculous. But I'm not opposed to things which are ridiculous.

I thought I'd already participated in this thread, mostly asking a question about whether or not I (Turbo Ninja) did indeed get somehow to the Trashspotting board.  I'm three kinds of confused now because posts are showing up in places I don't remember posting and NOT showing up in places I could swear I did indeed post.

WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE.

It's meta in a way that makes my feet cramp up.

Okay, so people can actually register there?

Now of course we won't know who actually registered themselves and who Onstad registered, well, other than the ones that have insults about themselves as "Bios" I guess.

Yeah, kinda low shenanigans, though.  I mean, Onstad has an actual account here and can post whenever he wants.  It's not like I created a fake account called "Chris Onstad" and posted things for him like "I couldn't post a strip today because I was too busy drinking and beating my wife.  Hell of blogz stylez yo.  That Achewood Varsity t-shirt that no one was buying is now available in 'Cranberry' so maybe now that it's available in this new color you'll buy it?  Please?  My baby girl is so cute.  You know so because I tell you so every day.  Baby needs a new pair of shoes!  Maybe you could buy a book of the same strips that are on the net that I made at Kinkos.  I'll put a half a cent's worth of ink on it for an extra $10. C'mon,  man, think of the children!  I post a strip at LEAST twice a week for you fucks!  Maybe if you bought more merch I wouldn't hate my fanbase so much.  Think about it.  Baby update: The baby just sneezed.  The snot formed an exact scale replica of the country of Argentina on the carpet."

Holy shit, man. I mean, really.

It was indeed a thing to behold wombat, basically you missed some insainly cruel insults directed at jough, via someone writing as if they were jough, or maybe more broadly the Achewood fanbase a la jough.  Like really angry.  REALLY Angry.  Like jough raped Onstad's baby on a live web-cast and Onstad set out for equal revenge type thing. The posts were disappearing as I was reading them.  Clearly from other posts above, I missed some stuff too.  Weird that so much effort was placed on something so short lived.

Yeah, the quality didn't match Onstad, so who knows.  Onstad or an imposter, I don't get it, so to said lurker (since you're clearly lurking here):  If you hate jough et all so much, then don't lurk here, and you'll be fine and have more time to do whatever it is we're interfearing with.

Okay, I can see being extremely pissed over this. But taking it out on Onstad? Best to play it safe, instead of say some...things you can't take back gracefully.

Yeah, whoever posted that clearly isn't 12 years old, nor have they been around 12 year olds recently.

Where I'm from, elementary goes up to 6th grade (grade 6).  I was 11, but I knew several 12 year olds, and even a 13 year old.  Dude got to drive in 9th grade (grade 9).

When I was in school elementary school went up to 8th grade.  I turned 12 towards the end of 6th grade, but my birthday is reasonably early in the year.

I was 12 while in my last year of elementary school, but I had an early birthday.

Anyway, what the hell is the point of all this? I'm not even sure I can pretend to get it anymore.

So it's understandable that a man of your age pretending to be a 12 year old would make that mistake.  I get it.  When I was in elementry school it went to the 5th. grade.  6th. through 8th. grades were called Jr. High.
