Oh god, the semi-realistic rendering of George Michael, and his face, and the concept. Chris is showing no signs of weakness.

Wikipedia says:

Michael is also well known for his April 7, 1998, arrest for "engaging in a lewd act" in a public restroom in a Beverly Hills city park. He was arrested by an undercover Beverly Hills police officer named Marcelo Rodriguez.

George Michael: "Well, I was followed into the restroom, and then, this cop – well, I didn't know he was a cop at the time obviously – he started playing this game. I think it's called ‘I'll show you mine, you show me yours, and then when you show me yours, I'm gonna nick you!'" [1]

After pleading "no contest" to the charge, Michael was fined $810 and sentenced to 80 hours of community service. After that incident, he became open about his homosexuality.

Maybe that is what this is about.

Or actually, it is about this:

In July 2006, Michael was photographed by News of the World reporters, emerging from the bushes in a public London park, following a sexual tryst with Norman Kirtland, a "pot-bellied, 58-year-old, jobless van driver." [4]

Apparently.  We might find out on Friday or Monday.

This is one of those weird ones that don't make you laugh right away, but get stuck in your subconscious for a long time.

George Michael is not sure if there is pleasure to be had in that bush, but there don't seem to be people around, and he just has to find out!

Also, he has small dainty legs and is wearing thong-style sandals (possibly a thong-style thong, but this is not shown in today's entertainment product).

Side note: How in the HELL did we all look at the video for Wake me up before you go-go and think that he was heterosexual?

What is that thing phillipe is holding at the beginning? It looks like a stick with a dead little man hanging from it. Like thats what phillipe usually does with his time.. hang little men.

Man, what is that thing?
Phillipe is a creepy bastard.

Am seriously considering replacing current avatar with George Michael freaking out looking at the bush.

The heat has addled Onstad's brain.  He thinks that's a drawing of a bush?  Poor man.

I guess that's why you have to have Phillipe elucidating the matter in a very non-Achewood way: "What are you doing in THAT BUSH?". The artist knew his bush rendering was shit, but it was hot, so he stayed in the water and figured some tilted dialogue could do the job.

On the other hand, perhaps we can hope that the odd appearance and placement of the bush will be revealed as crucial to the plot.  Usually when we doubt him, we get our comeuppance, after all.

Really though I am obviously just trying to take my mind off how unbearably creepy that George Michael is.

It is a poor bush because it is LieBot's bush.  LieBot fabricated an artificial bush so that he might lure the Artist Formerly Known As Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou into it.  Chris Onstad had to represent an interpretation of a bush and this is what we get.  It is several levels removed from being a real bush.

Why then it is easily recognized as a bush by Phillipe? We need to get to the bottom of this people (or maybe not).
