Even with not exercising (much) and eating pretty badly most days over the past two weeks, I'm still losing a litlte *tiny* bit. I'm down about a pound or so since last week.
I'm on to weighing myself every day now - because in order to measure your water balance you really have to take a moving average rather than your weight at any given time. You could be +/- 2lbs on any given day and it doesn't mean you've put on weight since then, you're just holding onto some fluid.
So now I'm using the Hacker's Diet guide to measuring true weight and it's actually more encouraging. My scale only moved to the right (weight up) once, and I vowed never again. I'm not sure I can hold up that vow, but dang, it feels good to be a gangster. Oh, and it feels good to be always moving the weight down, even if only by a little bit.
I'm at my lowest weight since I've been measuring, and I'm down 47 pounds since the beginning of June.
Granted, I still have a LONG way to go to 180, my goal weight. I'm at 378 right now. That's right - I still need to lose almost 200 pounds.
My next milestone is obviously 350. It'll mean I can use the more accurate scale too, so that'll help. I'm hoping I can drop these 28 pounds by the end of the year. It's about mid-September now, so over the next 14 weeks that means an average of 2lbs a week, which probably means I'm not going to make it.
But whatever. If I'm only at 359 by the end of the year I won't exactly be crying, you know?
