So far tonight A-Rod (the best player on my fantasy team and perhaps in all of baseball) is 0 for 2 against Horacio Ramirez (the worst pitcher on my favorite team and perhaps in all of baseball). Emotions.... so conflicted.....

Gentlemen, there will be consolation rounds, y'know... even if you lose, the season does not end.

Yea, me and Nabu are tied at three.  We each have ERA's over 10 and WHIP's over 2.  Who is going to try to lose harder?

6-4, now. You've got three times as many strikeouts, and I have you beat in wins and saves (1 apiece).

Wow, how did I go up from 4 points to 7 points in my matchup? My lone pitcher yesterday got shelled. Weird.

L-Money... I got a buddy who's a hockey fan but doesn't have a group of people to do the fantasy league thing with...

Hockey not exactly being an LA thing.

May I ask him if he wants into the hockey league? Your call, you're the organizer, I just was thinking about it because those kinds of leagues are always better with more people in them.

That's folks in SoCal for you. They get to watch the single greatest hockey player in the history of the game, and that can't even sustain interest in the sport.

I have a theory that it's the transplants that keep hockey breathing out here. 'Cause after a generation theres no fuck*ng way a sane person'd choose it over one of the 9 jillion other things you can do outside year 'round.

ALSO: I think you may rate Marcel Dionne a little high but thanks anyways.

Oh you - you're a nut, you are!

Fuck everything right in the mouth.

A-Rod just eliminated my beloved Mariners from the playoffs tonight with not one but two home runs. He might be on my fantasy team, but you know what? It sucks. It sucks Nice Pet's crooked c*ck, is what it does.

Eliminated? I would not say that the Mariners are eliminated.

They just have to pull themselves together long enough to hang in until the Yankees pitching completely collapses again.

Three games out from the Yankees is doable... much of their plan is dependent on Roger Clemens and Mike Mussina suddenly waking up fifteen years younger, for cripes' sakes, it is doable.

Your team just have to hold up their end of the bargain, is all.
