How could Onstad possibly be angry with us, since he's not here and all...

He is aware of the forum.

Aw, Christ, not this again. I hear this pronouncement as it comes from a man in a robe with gnarled hands. I can't see his face and the voice is deep and guttural, like it came from a mouldering grave...monotone...

Heeee is awaaaaare of the forum. As was foretooooold in the propheceeey.

He should be aware of it. But if it interferes with his worldview or his art, (and I OPINE that the last forum meltdown demonstrates that it does) he should leave it the hell alone the way I leave Heroin alone because I know it will MESS ME UP.

It's all part of Jough's eeeeevil plan.  He's getting us all hooked on stimulating, thought-provoking posts and when we least expect it -- BANG!!! He's gonna jack up the prices to where we'll have to go out and boost honest folks' TV's and blenders.

Help me!  I gotta get clean.  I don't wanna be a message board junkie anymore!  That damn Jough and his sinister plots.

It's true, it's all painfully true.

Actually, Onstad and I were in on this sinister plan from the get-go.

Maybe the 'stad reads this. Maybe he does not. For all we know, this entire thing is a sordid result of an e-mail correspondence with "Ponce De Leon," and the next Primer strip is going to be a full exegesis of how Ray and Beef are not dogs, really, honest to God.

But if it was foretold in THEEEEE PROPHECY, far be it from me to question.

Fill Eep.

Sheesh.

Oh, and Jough is pronounced "Raymond Luxuryacht".

Ten points for anyone who gets that reference.

Thank you, this has been the monthly "Raymond Luxury-yacht/Throatwarbler Mangrove" joke.  This monthly presentation has been brought to you by a generous grant from our glowering administrator Jough and the venerable absurdists of Monty Python.  Thanks for reading!

Actually, it's a Hitchhiker's reference, but okay.

Brother Jough, I ain't disputin' you exactly, but can you give me a page number on that? Cause I swear I remember Graham Chapman swilling Raymond Luxury-Yacht around his sinuses.

Lord knows I could be wrong.  It'd only be about the trillionth time.  And false memory certainly isn't a new phenomenon.  And with my variously addled walnut I suppose it's more likely than not.  But damn, I coulda sworn it was a Python sketch.

Well, despite my being fairly sure it wasn't Hitchhiker's (since I have been obsessed with it from the earliest age and thus know it far, far too well) it is forgivable to confuse them, what with Adams and Chapman having lived together and written some stuff. Thus their styles can somewhat compare.
Man I need sleep.
