Where did this pardoning the turkey tradition come from?  It just seems kinda weird because you know they are going to be having turkey anyway at the white house.

Today I met with my advisor, who told me I should declare Anthropology as a second major temporarily, so that I can keep my options open.
Which I kind of what I wanted to do, but I convinced myself it was a dumb idea. I have an appointment with the Anthro Department secretary on thursday morning.

Today I'm gonna drag myself out of a warm puggy bed to go out in the cold and work for free at the zoo, and find that the car won't start.

I think the battery is dead. I am too ignorant to do anything about this on my own, so I had to call and say I couldn't come and would try to come tomorrow or Friday if I could get it fixed when the Technical Staff comes home.

And then I'm gonna sit staring at my desk, without enough work to do, trying to figure out what action to take about this fact.
