I am trying to sell my car, but having no luck.  Basically my best case scenario is to be car jacked or have a "not my fault" accident.  But I don't want to subject myself to these things, even for money.

Too bad you can't take a road trip to Mexico, Smells. I hear all kinds of problems like that seem to resolve themselves there.

That's thousands of miles away! Isn't Canada basically the same sort of lawless frontier?

Yes, it is, but see, provincially, our insurance is government sanctioned, and as such, they forced me to have an immobilizer installed on my car (being that I live in a high crime area, and my car is highly stealable and fun to drive.  No one but the key holder can start the engine.  Otherwise, in my neighbourhood, all I'd need to do is leave the doors unlocked over the weekend and my problems would be over.  Still, a $500 deductable for a car worth only about $1200 is not worth the grief.

That's just... wrong.  It's interfering with, like, the natural life cycle of old cars and bad neighborhoods.

I guess as a general rule I sorta believe that killing is wrong, but if a motherfucker tries to take my shit he's going to have a really really hard time getting it.  I'll take his fuck*ng eye as a trophy.

As an update, I got a call last night from the detective and the dude is now in jail. Evidently he tried to pull off an armed robbery at a gas station a couple days ago. Hes looking at decades of hard time so I guess the law wins this time. Really, I just want my cash back. I mean c'mon, even judge judy would agree I'm owed my due and proper.

Acap: I was thirsty one day and I sat down. A year later, Jack's was built around me and thirst is a recurring thing.

Better hurry.  My internet crushes are fleeting, and I'll be thirty next year, which would just make it creepy.

Nobody ever guessed who the other half of my imaginary dream Touambie was...
