This time with a theme!

Cute things.  I had a terrible, awful, horrible time with my footnotes last night, and I need a little comfort.

Post pictures of cute things -- your own or "borrowed."

Please don't post pictures of cute things that used to be alive and are now stuffed and/or mounted.  I'm looking at you, Asherdan.

Here's my contribution:

In a fit of rampant hubris I shall post: Myself!
Specifically old pictures of young me trying to entertain a girlfriend.
He stalks his prey.
He pounces!

To be honest I'm not sure anymore if these are cutesy or just disturbing but I think the public needs to be informed that this stuff is out there.

I really want to get a picture of one of my soon-to-be-roommates when he talks about this girl he is dating. He basically... the word is, he "Gushes." It is slightly embarassing to behold, but she is such a rad girl that I am OK with it. Except for when he such as bounces on my bed about it.

This is him, in orange, with one of my current roommates, his ex girlfriend who was kind of mean to him, and one of our other future roomies.

The other three of us are much more serious about our endeavours (I thought someone had taken a picture of all 4 of us dressed up for art prom, I am hoping that will be sent my way soon.) I am the guy dressed like a greaser with skinny arms, the guy in the blue shirt is our resident insane art major/physics major, and the guy sitting between us is the cynical guy who would be called "Brooklyn" in the WWII movie of our lives, but you know, at the end when one of us died he would cry and all. Not pictured: the girl who took this picture, who is, based on objective vote, the cutest girl in the world. I think that posting pictures of girls I have crushes on is crossing a line, obviously, so, sorry.

This is my cousin Alejandro. When he would put the hat on his mommy, she would cackle like a witch. So he would shriek and take it off. Then he would come up really slowly again, and look at her, and then put the hat on, she'd cackle, he'd scream and take it off...
cute.
Then she tried to put the hat on him, and he apparently thought it would make him "mean" like a witch and he wouldn't let her. Also, apparently he acts the way I acted and looks kind of like how i looked when I was his age.

Here he is, again. He is older than this now, though. I haven't seen him in a while, and now he has a new baby brother.

This is a Malayan Sun Bear, from the St Louis Zoo. I think that they are adorable animals, they are little dog-sized bears.

She's still adorable, but my dog was very cute as a puppy.

My little girl, summer 2006.  She's almost ready for a full-size stick these days.

Little Delvacas

Awww!  Oh!  Auuu!  Dang, cute overload in the very first post.  You broke my cute noise.

In a fit of rampant hubris I shall post: Myself!

Dang, I keep forgetting how young all of you are.

Cute baby snakes!

Oh, my, those are the cutest baby snakes.  I like the yellow one best.

I showed my son, told him it was a snake, and he said, "penis."  I don't know why.  Maybe he thought it looked hungry?

Sorry, the rest of you don't get individual replies because my baby just woke up and I have to type one-handed now.

I showed another friend the photo I linked to earlier and he said she looked "strangely Jim Hensonish."  I think he was saying she seems muppetlike?

Anyway, here's my other kid.

Here's Max relaxin'
Here's Max a second later, alert.

Here's the monkey I caught using an incense stick to clean his teeth when I was in Bali.

Here's a little monkey sticking his tongue out at me.  I had decided I'd taken enough pictures of monkeys for the day when this little guy started following me.  He would stick his tongue out each time I made a move for my camera, then tuck it back in when I put it away.  Clearly he had learned that posing for a picture led to treats.

Probably one of my favorite statues.  There were beautiful statues of monkeys everywhere, so I did a double take when I saw this one.  He seems moderately embarrassed about it, but it's not stopping him.

I don't know who this child is.  I found it on one of those "most recent pictures posted" aggregators.

This is my niece a few years ago, taking a bubble bath:

These are puppies.

This is a cute rabbit.

These children do not yet understand how lucky they are to be alive.

If videos count, this is pretty cute.
