I think they over-estimated the market for people who want a car specifically for driving to the beach. I'm guessing that info wasn't there because it's some sort of industry demo for a concept car, those sorts of details probably wouldn't be worked out until they had it in production.

Me too.  That thing is awesome.

Remember back in the 80's the toy cars where the paint changed color if you poured hot or cold water on them? This car needs that paint job.

In the very least, we need day-glo cars.

We're very close to 2015 and if more things are day-glo soon, Back to the Future will have lied.

A garden hose?  For what?  Washing off your wet suit?

There are classes that teach women to teach men to be less annoyed by their constant nagging:

Also, he did the "what?" expression exactly perfectly, I know exactly the emotion he is trying to communicate because I have that very same emotion 20 times a day for the same reason.
You know this guy just dreads it every time his wife walks into the room. Come home from a 9 to 5, try to watch some television about people sitting on stools pretending to drive cars, and his wife announces the triumph of doing three loads of laundry and immediately starts off at him for the remainder of the night.

Ooo, for washing the sand off your feet! Now I want one, and I didn't even watch the video and only go to the beach at most one day a year.

Well, that would beat the number of people who buy a 4WD SUV and never take it off road.

I assume the parking lot in question wasn't at the feed shop - you'd expect the people there to be used to that sort of thing.

... And then Pontiac ceased to exist. Seriously, that thing is absurd. A portable gas stove? A door that turns into an ice chest? Why TWO vacuums? What is the garden hose for?

I, er, remember this concept.  It was in the late 80s/early 90s and it was a feature article in Car and Driver.  I probably thought it was rad at the time.
