I just got an email announcing this as a new product two minutes ago. Did I get it in before Bobby saw it?

baconpop makes me sad that it's by the same people that make bacon salt. if their product didn't blow chunks this world would be a much better place. these guys, though, they're committing crimes against bacon.

Looks like root beer to my eyes, or perhaps real beer (something dark and thick, like Guinness?)

Can't be real beer - the delicious baconfat would destroy the head.

My best guess is that it's supposed to be crema on top of espresso

It does look a bit like gravy, though.

http://thisishowiwillgetfamous.blogspot.com/2009/12/onion-dog.html

bacon-wrapped hot-dog-stuffed onion

They shoulda chopped the hot dogs and literally stuffed the onion like a turkey.  Carve a wide-diameter core into the center of the onion, one that doesn't go all the way through, and pack that sucker full of chopped meat bits.  Then cork the core with a chunk of the removed onion, and grill/roast.  Then, it truly could be eaten like an apple.

TACTICAL BACON

http://www.ar15.com/forums/topic.html?b=3&f=124&t=423961

http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/shop/?cart=2112110&cat=172&

Sixteen bucks for a product that basically already exist and can be had for $3.  I guess that extra 13 dollars is worth it for a silly package.

But it's true, it defiinitely will last 10 years (or more).
