We called these concoctions Chef A'La Barf when I was in middle school.  They made deadly food-fight armament, although you'd be suspended for sure if it got traced to you somehow.  They also made rad "science experiments" when hidden for a few weeks in a quiet corner of one of the quads.

Fortunately, I've prevailed in my battles thus far.

I've had to back up my step father a few time though.  His futon gets downright unruly.

today, I wrestled a futon-like mattress into my tiny room and onto the bedframe, after spending several hours putting the bed together. The bed is really uncomfortable. Crap.

Also, did I mention that my bed and my desk take up like 80% of the floor space in my room. Oh man, i predict that soon I won't be able to see my floor.
