Art Spiegelman won a "Pulitzer Prize Special Award" for Maus, which is awarded for accomplishments that don't fit a particular category, though it does kind of sound like the Special Olympics of awards.

it's from back in the old dumbrella days (small times for some of us left from then) when onstad acknowledged that he hated us and got all paranoid and fascist in the achewood board there back when he ran it. sadly (?) due to him freaking out again later and getting all crazy-go-nuts and deleting everything and locking down the board from anything but polls, leading to the birthing of this here diversion
