I was going with the "ruby in the rubbish" idea, similar to that used to isolate boddhisatvas: that nobody is much good, but someone has to be the best anyway.

As a deputized agent of the Monkey King, Great Sage, Equal of Heaven, I am telling you right now that this is the greatest sentence ever virtually uttered in even the vaguest reference to the XFL.

Yes this includes all that nonsense talk about smashmouth football and dating cheerleaders and talking with curses into a helmet-mounted microphone

(Note: I am a person that read John Madden's Authorized Grill-Oriented Cookbook and it all sounds really good if more than a little lifespan denting and saturated fat fetishy [and therefore impossible], and so but I am a fully epauletted expert on the whole smashing of mouths / talking all kinds of carnivorous blurfy aesthetic.)

That He Hate Me.

He's a gutty player. He's gritty.  He just wanted it more.  He plays with authority.  He finds a way (to win).  His head is in the game.  He is there, now.  He leaves everything on the field.  When he hits you, you know you've been hit.  He's All-Madden.  He wants to play another one.  He's a player's player.  He's the hardest workin' man in football.  He goes the extra mile.  His feet never stop moving.  He's the last to leave the weight room.  He's on another level.  He's a pro-bowler.  He finds a way into the end zone.  He's not afraid to get hit.  He'll run routes across the middle.  He wants the ball at crunch time.  He's the next (Thorpe, Hirsch, Hornung, Brown, Simpson, Payton, Sanders).  He's concensus.  He's prime time, baby.

How I hate him.
