that guy has a better version of my haircut, and also my guitar.
also my name. Weird that that is the third thing I noticed.

an Aussie I know had a dance band called Dan _____'s Party Dream.

he started his set by saying "last night I had a party dream... and you were all in it."

he was also really handsome and played up his accent in order to bed women.

Plays music, really handsome, Australian accent . . . I would have thought he was more concerned with trying to get things accomplished other than bedding women.

Also, also, Gerry Rafferty is dead, but the headlines are as follows:

Psychiatric tests ordered for rapper Gucci Mane

Rapper Waka Flocka waives hearing, remains jailed

Eh, low-hanging fruit. Sue me.

Is sad.  They don't write AM pop music like that anymore.

Taking Bindi Irwin's name in vain?  Doesn't that get you beaten up in Australia?

Officemate playing the fuck out of some Coldplay, Jack Johnson, etc. A little goes a long way with that.

As supremely douchey as Coldplay is as celebrities and as an image, I can enjoy their music in small doses.

Only in small doses and only when I am able to forget what sanctimonious poseurs they seem to be but still.

Nah. To be honest it was kind of creepy how quickly they started pimping her after her dad died.

Two things:
1.  Cover art and such for my 2007 mix CD is finally completed and on the FTP server, for those who are into such things (i.e. Paul).  Started work on 2008 last night, so I'll finally be caught up on these things.
2.  I got a 1 TB external hard drive, so I have started copying all my CDs (I don't know, 350 of them?) to MP3.  My "random 15" posts will get a LOT more interesting once that's all done.  Now I just need to get my MP3-compatible car stereo reinstalled so I can be fully digital an' shit.  I decided I'm tired of burning all my eMusic downloads to disc, it's ridiculous.

I had a little Tricky festival last night.  That dude is bad-ass.
