Did we cover A. Johnson's beat down of Finnegan? That's been a subject of much derision around the water cooler here. How many folks in the NFL do you think would pay $25k and no suspension to punch ol' Cort multiple times?

I got Tolbert for him. I'm such a homer.

I already had Tolbert.

Also used to be the long ball guys (WRs and DBs both) were pretty much the only players who talked real obvious shit, and then only if they were good. Finnegan isn't that great (yeah, yeah, pro-bowler, but not really) and it looks to me like he got his mouth shut for him.

However, I think the league made a mistake not suspending them both. I'm not convinced the NFL handles this kind of stuff (violence between players) very well. They don't really have the institutionalized, unwritten rules that the NHL has.

From a Houston sports columnist:

"Text from NFL player: If Dre passed a hat around the league, he could pay his fine and have money left over for a new car."

I wonder what will happen next time Finnegan decides to step to one of these WRs that has 5" and 40 lbs on him.

"$25k? Don't mind if I do!"

Damn, picked up Quintin Mikell just for today's game, but Yahoo already froze him to the bench.  I had at least 5mins to kickoff!

I don't remember which league it was, but I got beat by a zombie player this year too. I manage to do it once a year.

GODDAMNIT. GOD DAMN IT.

edit: /me shoots his tv

my qb gets sacked twice and int'd once in the first half. my zombie matchup opponent has the defense that's done this. HE HAS FIVE PLAYERS THAT DIDN'T PLAY. and he's now got 21 points on me, with another half to go. how many points can benjarvusgreenellis score tomorrow? like eighty?

I was playing against a zombie, too, and as a bonus it had Favre.

Who is Terror Mosque, anyway?

Edit: The Terror Mosque was Paul.

let's just say my 7 game win streak is looking shaky, unless Sanchez thows 5 TDs to the tight end and LT gets lost on the way to the stadium.

I'm sorry I'm a zombie.  I never could figure out how to maneuver players and kinda got frustrated and gave up.  I promise I'll do something this week.
