Did we cover A. Johnson's beat down of Finnegan? That's been a subject of much derision around the water cooler here. How many folks in the NFL do you think would pay $25k and no suspension to punch ol' Cort multiple times?

Also used to be the long ball guys (WRs and DBs both) were pretty much the only players who talked real obvious shit, and then only if they were good. Finnegan isn't that great (yeah, yeah, pro-bowler, but not really) and it looks to me like he got his mouth shut for him.

However, I think the league made a mistake not suspending them both. I'm not convinced the NFL handles this kind of stuff (violence between players) very well. They don't really have the institutionalized, unwritten rules that the NHL has.
