This obnoxious libertarian-ish dude from college is trying to pick a fight with me once again. It has been years and years since he has done this.

I cannot escape the feeling that I will feel better if I just yell at him a little, but I know that road only leads to suffering.

I reflect a lot lately on how some people seem to thrive on, enjoy, or at least tolerate conflict. My tolerance for conflict is... maybe I'll leave off the 'please' or 'thank you' when interacting with a rude person and feel pumped up about it for the rest of the day.

Goddamn inev, why we sometimes got to be the same person?  But seriously, like, just chill out out there all you bros and ladies.  I feel like ash probably does this right.  I bet he is pretty chill unless some real shit goes down, then he acts swiftly and strongly.  I think that is the way to be.

We differ in one way though...my first tinder date is this week.  Excited and scared!

The problem with libertarians is that they're all libertarians*.   They believe the government should butt out of everything, except for their pet issue.  In a sense, most everyone is a libertarian in that most everyone believes that the power of government should only be used when necessary -- but there's plenty of debate over what is necessary.

Crazy roommate told me it's "weird" when I refer to women our age as "women," other roommate looked at her and said "what the fuck are you talking about!?"

I like other roommate a lot. She has questionable taste in friends (ie, first roommate) but she is killing it in the attitude department.

General update: our landlord put out rat traps, and I can't find them. This makes me think I am either going to discover a dead rat at a surprising moment, or discover a rat trap when it breaks one of my toes. Or maybe he only put them in the basement? Hmm.
