Supposedly (from recent reading) they're going to work on getting rid of the filibuster, or at least pull some of its teeth. To me, this would be a good thing.

would be nice if the filibuster required actual filibustering. there's a separate single-senator hold procedure that also needs to get the fuck gone

Yes - the thing I read said they were starting with that. I would cross my fingers but they get cramped when I leave them like that for too long.
