@achewood I got mad about Robert Fripp's "music" again. I need to go to bed.

Went pugging yesterday. Found this one. The owner of the store asked us if we'd watch the place for a couple of minutes and as soon as she left, the pug went berserk. When she came back she punished it with snuggles and goony comments. I'm not sure that's going to work.

Yeah. They were both pretty adorable, so I can't say that the snuggles/gooning surprised me.

My pugs would be angry if they saw that. Why have our cats never been that useful?

It probably helps that the pug's snortle noises sound a lot like purring.

My cats do that to me. I do not appreciate it.

Two of my kitties do that to me too, but I don't mind it at all.  They aren't really strong enough to give an even mildly statisfying massage, but they're usually purring really hard at the same time and I find the hypno-purrs are very therapeutic.

I don't care for it because the amount of pressure they put on me is directly proportionate to the distance they extend their claws.

Mine neve use their claws, but they do tend to prefer the boobs, which really doesn't help anything.
