Well that, maybe, but moreso I think because he is a fame whore (and so is she).

That link you posted the other day of Kiss on Tom Snider led me to this Kiss on Mike Douglas.  The interview with Gene Simmons is cringe worthy, but then they really rock hard on Firehouse.
