When my thyroid was out of whack, it was great. I could go two weeks without shaving and have barely a thing. If I waxed? Months.

Of course, the hair on my head was also falling out in clumps, and I felt like I was going to die any moment most of the time, but the whole not-having-to-shave thing was pretty awesome.

Bad teeth are my kryptonite.  You're talking about slightly crooked teeth, like Jewel has for instance, which can be cute, , but for me, bad teeth in general are probably my biggest turn off.

Last night as the kids were getting ready for bed, I picked up one of my older daughter's Judy Moody books. On one page the kids were talking about making "the world's longest human centipede."

I get that some people want bamboo. There are lots of reasons to grow it, not the least of which is it's pretty and easy to care for. But when you plant it near a fence and don't bother to dig down and put in a root barrier to contain it, the people who will move in to the house behind you five years after you've left will hate you.

They all spread, but clumping spreads more slowly.

This asshole planted running bamboo. And the thing that kills me is, he decided later he didn't want it, and somehow he was able to kill his without bothering the stuff in my yard, the bastard. He (or the people who moved in after him) must have cut it off and put in an undeground barrier after it had already infested the rest of the yards around him. It's terrorism, is what it is.

As if it weren't bad enough, that the lady who lived here before us planted wisteria.
