I have these and these.  Pretty pricey for little plastic half-balls, but thankfully they were a gift.  They hurt like hell/work great.

I'm a little concerned about his choice honestly. Another hound mix possibly with the same urge to run away... I've become very dubious about these transport programs that bring dogs from the rural South to be adopted in cities - they are not necessarily suited to urban life. And that puppy is past the critical socialization period.

But, don't let me spoil it. It'll probably be fine, overthinking these things is basically my job.

I have a weird little succulent that I can't identify. It had one weird (frond? branch? what is this part called?) that grew off in an ugly direction and I cut it off. Now the thing is freaking out. All of the (whatever they are called) which used to point towards the sun are now pointing in different directions and seem to move randomly day by day. I've traumatized my little friend...

well. great. I finally hatched a plan to go to Chile for a week and now it might fall through. My grandparents are moving to the US so if this trip doesn't work out I'll never get to be there with them.

Lately I keep thinking "I wasted my 20s." I would like to stop thinking that. In the end I am set up in a career, living in a city I love, and I made a lot of great friends. But I wish I could have skipped some of the anxiety and misery. And gone to Chile.

My car just stopped working (I live in the Los Angeles suburbs- also not working=dead for good) and I don't even have an apartment.  But also like I know who I'm gonna marry.  Idk, fuck it dude?  Everything happens at different times for different people- just keep trying.
