Then I guess I am unclear how bra colors clarify that specific aspect of it.

brassieres make me think of boobs.  boobs do not make me any more or less aware of breast cancer than i already was.

FTW:
"Call me a humourless Feminazi if you like, but this email is not about raising awareness of breast cancer. It's about using a disease that has a devasting impact on the lives of hundreds of thousands of people as a spurious justification for discussing saucy undies."

I'm just hoping that this fad brings us one step closer to girls full on posting some totally rude pictures of their titties. You know, for awareness.

It just occurred to me though that this would probably yeild some interesting statistics if you cross referenced colour with age, region, ethnicity, relationship status and frequency this changes, sexual orientation etc. Maybe even throw in how many groups they belong to as a measure of how likely someone is to participate in a random meme and number of photos of a given person (and maybe number of friends) as a measure of extroversion. Mmmmm data.

Today I agreed to meet my friend downtown at midnight to go to a bar. Walking down the street, I heard electric guitars and singing. I turned around, only to find that a band I really like was playing at this bar that I didn't know had anything other than acoustic singer-songwriter stuff. They were really good. I bought their album.

I really like this song. They are also attractive women. When I saw them in St Louis the other band (King Khan and the BBQ Show) didn't show up because they got arrested. So Those Darlins played for a million years, and were all so drunk... one of them threw a beer bottle at the lighting system and made a light explode. It was exciting.
I went up to the guitarist in the middle at the end and was like, great show, etc, and was impressed by her southern accent.

last time I was at a gig in St. Louis, one of the band dudes was macin' on my friend before the show.  my friend was relatively young for him, and all dressed up kinda hott and slutty and such.  we meet my friend's other two friends at the show.  what show was it... Jenny someone?  Jenny lewis or something?  I forget.  was kinda blue grass.  okay show.  except this one bass player, she was all like, totally fake smiling and carrying on the whole show, exaggeradedly exheuberant, which was okay I guess, except it kinda set up this dichotomy with the other band people, who were all pretty mellow and not doing a performance sorta thing, they were just doing their thing, which made the bass player come off kinda fakey looking.  I dunno.  she didn't seem to engage the crowd that much, but that's another thing, the vibe at the place was kinda weird, kinda like the folks weren't all totally into it or whatever.  I'm told that place just doesn't have a good vibe for whatever reason.  I blame the smokers.  there was like a break between the openener and the main act, and my friend goes for a smoke break, so I follow her, and it's like this room off to the side with so many smokers.  weird.  fu(kin addicts.

anyway we meet her friends at the show, these two chicks, rachel and some other chick whose name I forget, and one of them, I forget which, was stoned out of her mind, because they had baked pot brownies, and I guess it was rachel ate all of the brownies on her own.  so after the show we are following her two friends home in my car, and her two friends get totally lost, because one of them is stoned, and the other one is following the driving directions of the stoned one.  So it took 30 minutes for what should have been a 10 minute drive home.  we finally get on the freeway and it becomes apparent that the speedometer isn't working in her friend's car.  because I'm doing like, 70, and I'm having trouble keeping up with them,... then they slow down to 55... then back up to 75... and so on.

so then later on my friend and her boyfriend get in some kinda grudge yelling screaming drunken thing over her boyfriend ditching her at the last minute when he was supposed to go to the show with her.  what a life I'll tell ya.  having a disagreement over not going to some mediocre show together.  I mean, if I lived in St. Louis, I don't know, I wouldn't go to shows either.  I would just wanna kill myself.

yeah it was this chick I recognize the music http://www.jennylewis.com/intro/

on winter break, getting up at 11 to go get my oil changed makes me feel like I have had a productive day.

Jenny lewis is good sometimes. my ex girlfriend looks like her. like, a lot like her. i saw her the other day and it was like, "oh."

I posted a thing on my radio station's blog about my favorite album of the year, and for some reason my friends are posting weird, aggressive things on my facebook about how they don't care what my favorite album is. Don't fuck*ng read it then? Why do they feel the need to be all, "I DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT YOUR FAVORITE ALBUM IS." Is it somehow offensive to talk about what I like and why?

Good story, 'cat.

You know, it's OK to say fuck here. You don't have to use filter-evasion, or anything, we're not offended. If that's your style and you're doing a thing, that's cool, but we don't have anti-obscenity filters.

Just letting you know, trying to make it easy on you.
