today a cute girl called and said that yes, she will definitely go to a movie with me, and it became plain that she is kind of finagling her schedule to fit it in when she totally could have said "I'm too busy." I am glad about this event, even though it is just one more intense thing I need to work into a week which was supposed to be easy, and is rapidly becoming hard.

also, if at all possible, when asking a girl out avoid asking "um... do you have a car?"

A-CAP, I don't know who that is in your new avatar, so I'm going to pretend it's John Galt.

Also,when the prmary rolls around, I'm probably going to vote for Ron Paul, because I like 27.32% of his ideas, which is more than I can say for any other candidate.

today:
I woke up feeling horrible. Then I went to film class and perked right up. The rest of the day (ie, until an hour or so ago) it was like my brain was suddenly Turned On after being off for weeks, and suddenly I had things to say in class, took tons of notes, etc.
Then halfway through the film we just watched for the film class, I just kind of crashed. The rest of this day is going to blow balls. Tonight: studying for a linguistics exam, planning for an in-class presentation, a radio station meeting which will go for up to maybe 2 hours, and a ton of reading for my poli sci class which I probably won't do.
Tomorrow I have an exam, office hours at the radio station, and I have to meet with this chick to plan out the in-class presentation... and then I have that movie date.

I know these are not really that many things... I just get stressed out easily. Especially because I forgot about all this stuff, and spent the weekend and the first several days of the week just fuck*ng around.

We have those in LA too, but do you have asshole twenty-something hipsters, standing around looking at him, talking about how they could TOTALLY make a reality show about the topic of this guy... and then they go off and do nothing about their already morally shaky idea?

the guys like that here, my roommates who are from non-urban areas (Little Rock, Springfield IL) try awkwardly not to look at him and pretend to be knowledgeable about crazy guys who live in cities. I include myself in this category (the roommates, not the crazy guys.) Our other roommate who is from NYC looks at us and makes the face which means he is trying not to laugh.

The only crazy guys round here tend to stick to public parks or bus stops. Not great to make conversation with but at least occasionally you can buy the big issue.

Today, I'm gonna pick out a christmas tree. Apparently now is the time.

Also, a linguistics exam for which I am currently studying (VP= V NP NP (PP), bitch!), and office hours, and poli sci, and a date. I am pretty sure this girl is not into this date for a couple of reasons, which I will not go into at this time so as to not completely jinx myself.
