Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee, scrambled eggs, a Hess truck, assorted clothes books and DVDs...

And most of all, my parents, my brother and his girl and my girl and I all under the same roof for coupla days.

Bliss.

A coupla days of not being a fuckin' courier who ain't done shit with his life, that's nice too.

also, the worst thing about today was i just woke up from a really sweet nap, but my neck was crooked and now its stiff and hurt-y.  other than that, amazing day.

yayy! Merry Christmas, everyone.

I think it is some sort of maturity milestone that I was excited to get some nice ties for christmas. next milestone: continuing to get ties long after I need more.

A new TV for my apartment (ours was the size of a computer screen), new cooking knives, clothes, books. A good haul. My girlfriend liked what I got her (a nice sweater, and I filled a small notebook with love-notes.) She said that the notebook made her tear up a little bit, so that felt nice.

My brother and sister got Beatles Rock Band, and it turned into this bizarre thing where my entire family (mom, dad, sister, brother, 2 cousins, aunt, uncle) was sitting around the TV playing the game and singing and yelling. That was really cool. Members of my family were ignorant of really basic Beatles songs, which was strange.

I also got a new external harddrive, so now I am trying to figure out where I have squirreled away all of my music files. They're finally all going to be in one place.

sounds like you got some good loot, congrats! i count the surround sound system and universal remote that we got for our party as my christmas gift, so i feel like i scored too ^_^

dinner's just about to come out of the oven, everybody's feeling nice and toasty from the champagne, and we've got some new wii games as gifts for after

...have a beautiful Christmas day.  Drive in the snow, eat way too much home-roasted prime rib and potatoes, and enjoy presents:  an HD radio from my husband, three books I've been wanting from my sister, and a lovely and striking pair of lotus flower earrings from greenkoolayd.

today I also found out that I drink harder than anyone in my family. We were talking about Mad Men.

My uncle stated that he hates mixed drinks, and everyone agreed. Then he said he had never tried bourbon or scotch or "any of those" and everyone agreed.

I said, "oh, well I guess I'm ahead then."

august if you and the missus haven't watched i, caligula yet you oughtta

my bust bud has an '07 mustang and i got him sequential tail lights for it so he can stop staring at everybody else's. it's a stick, and he's only had it like three months, but he upgraded from a '83 escort sedan. given that, he's still promised to let me drive it, and he wants to test it on a quarter-mile track. dude's awesome.

i got to feed people and they loved it, so my holiday was as good as can be.

I was singing to Beatles Rock band, but they told me I was being too loud so I stopped.  Christmas at my sisters house sucks.
