Unbreakable Kimmie Schmidt?

I've given it a 5 episode Netflix test-run and I think...this is gonna be OK.

I mean, shit, anyone can put up with 10 seconds of anything, right?

It's in the top tier of Netflix shows.

I've made it to the last 5 episodes of Breaking Bad, but the last couple of seasons are one helluva trudge for me. I've come around to agreeing with the Skyler character's opinion from earlier in the show and been wishing the cancer would come back and off Walt, the quicker the better for everyone he's apparently determined to drag down with him.

I mean, the quality of the writing and acting and the critical praise for it is deserved, in my opinion. But the emotional and ethical heart of the show just keeps getting deeper, darker and more repulsive.

I'm tempted to skip to the last episode to see how/how many of everyone gets deaded and call it good enough.

I just plowed through the first season of "The Good Place" and am starting season 2. If you are not familiar, watch it from the beginning before anyone spoils it for you.

Yeah, it's mighty good but it's mighty dark too.

So good, such a wicked sense of humour overiding the whole thing.

Finished off the last episode of Stranger Things 2 last night.
That was satisfying.
I think the departure from the 'old' network primetime schedule format, allowing stories to be told in the space they need to be told is frigggggin' awesome. I mean, shorter and dense is always going to get my preference.

I loved that show, until the last episode.  Iíve never heard anyone agree, but I think itís sappy bullshit (though maybe dark sappy bullshit?).  Iíd love to hear what you think.

I didn't like it as much as the first season. They had too much money for special effects this time. But still the only American TV show I've made it through two seasons of since... I can't even remember.

I definitely think the way Walt self justifies his horrific fuck*ng shit is based soundly on sappy bullshit.

I didn't like it as much as the first season.

Imagine that in Comic Book Guy wombat voice.

If you already agree it only gets worse!  Seriously, fuck that show.
