I am at the point where I am really ready to be moved into my new apartment, playing my electric guitar or a videogame, and not having 7 kids in my room. Campout is stressful as shit, and I am at a point where i accept that I am not good at any of the things you should be good at to plan a 2-night campout for 11 year olds. I like all the rest of camp, though... I'm just ready to be done and moving on to another year of school.

still kind of thinking I want to change my major. oof.

I just typed like two of the longest run on sentences ever, lets try again:

Today, I am going to find out the person who assaulted me (kicked me in the head 3 to 4 times with boots when I was knocked out after a fight he had absolutely nothing to do with) has a brother who just got charged with murder in Iraq.  This was a long story with lots of bullshit, but basically this guys mom was the prosecutor (or assistant?) in the Timothy McVeigh case and friends with the judge.  My father is also an attorney, though not friends with alcoholic judges (I was friends with his daughter) in bullshit suburbs that we live(d) on the outskirts of.  Anyways, this guy got a sentence of community service, but the judge allowed him to serve his time in a pre-scheduled mission trip to Honduras.  For this my dad yelled and was threatened with contempt of court.  The dudes mom argued this couldn't go on his record cause he was going to Air Force Academy to wrestle.  The piece of shit ended up going to the local college that is in between a community college and university.  Now, his brother lets just assume he is a piece of shit too (there is strong evidence here, what with the murder and all), killed a prisoner of war in Iraq.  Couldn't have happened to a better family!

alright, so that wasn't really better, but I am having all of these things come back and such.  Also I moved to Denver last week and today spent three hours walking around trying to find a bank that I basically knew where it was.  The internet is real sketchy and doesn't really work with maps or site location lookups so, idk, I need to buy a bed and get a job and find a thrift store and this trip today totally made these things seem impossible.  Hopefully tomorrow is better.

Upload it onto some webspace? You probably have some free space that comes with your internet access. If it's not too honking big e-mail it to me and I'll chuck it up tonight.

Today Im gonna go the DENTIST. I  have teeth growing in my mouth where there weren't teeth before so that's a thing. For me, going to the dentist involves brushing my teeth 5 times and marinating my mouth in listerine before having some guy poke my gums with hooks.

today I drank untreated water from a stream.
on the decision that... if it makes me sick, ghiardia is a fitting end-note to my summer. If I am fine, well, then I can give a little less of a shit about filtering water in the future (my own personal water, not water kids will be drinking).

also we did a 6 or 7 mile hike that had about 1000 feet of elevation change each way. That was rad.

Yeah, seriously, do not take risks with your guts.

I have had two babies without pain relief, sliced my fingers open badly enough to require stitches on at least two occasions (and probably should have gotten stitches the third time), spilled straight-from-the-stovetop boiling water on my leg and was treated in the ER for second-degree burns.  I also still have two adjacent quarter-sized scars on my right knee from skidding across the sidewalk after being launched off my new ten-speed when I was nine.  But I would rather go through any and all those things again than have bacterial colitis, which I got my senior year of college, probably from bad chicken.

Intestinal distress is absolutely awful.  Don't mess with it if you can avoid it, is what I'm saying here.

Also, I saw Pulp Fiction for the first time today.

I've drank water from streams and the like on numerous occasions.  Is this supposed to be a problem?

Did you like it more or less than bacterial colitis?

A-Cap theatre engage!

You will note this is not actually on my webspace, since it happened that I had this particular file bookmarked already (did someone link to it from here?). No idea if this is where it originated or not.
Anyways if you have not partaken before it is a pretty awesome animation.

More.

I liked it a lot.  I thought most of the gratuitous violence was rather more tasteful than I had expected.  And it rekindled one of my many celebrity crushes already in progress.  Seven points to anyone who can guess who I'll be thinking of in my private moments this week.

Also, I think if you look up the term "douchebag" in the dictionary, they have a picture of Quentin Tarantino.  I like his movies, but damn if that dude isn't a douche.
