I have a lot of knowledge from sources like that.

Mostly about music, though.
And normally the source is "i got bored and looked it up on wikipedia."

but people are still like, freaked out.

"oh my god, how did you know that Radio Burn is named after a road-rash the lead singer got after a tragic Radio Flyer Wagon accident on the hill behind his house as a kid?"
"it is the first thing listed on their wikipedia page."

I guess I need to figure out that other people, even if they are really into something, do not read about it.
I read about things BEFORE I'm into them. It's my nature.


Also, I am listening to this Mix CD put out by this guy in 2004, and EVERY GODDAMN SONG is a song my roommate plays when he DJs parties and drives the ladies into a frenzy.
So I guess the lesson for the night is:
as long as no one knows your sources, you can impress people with your knowledge stolen from something they haven't thought to check out.

update:
almost entirely done packing. friend coming to drive my stuff over in 1.5 hours. I am having to once again reconsider him... I am inclined to think he is an asshole a lot of the time, but he is coming through for me in my time of need. exam was primaterrific, especially considering how little I studied.
I only had to give away a few major items (bookshelf, extra blanket, mini-fridge, george foreman grill). Mostly just threw out old crap.

Eating an everything-left-in-the-fridge sandwich. White bread with bratwurst sliced up, mustard, swiss cheese, marinara sauce, cayenne pepper, and onion powder. It is actually pretty yummy, in its own weird way. Actually, I guess this isn't such a weird combination of things. It was just a little scary when I was making it.
along with the bottom of a 2-liter of coca cola. flat.

update: HAH. I thought I was almost done? It is now several hours later. The guy who was going to drive me, and the person whose house I am taking things, are both drunk. We have now made plans to do this tomorrow before my flight at 1 PM. This seems like the worst plan ever.

This one amazes me.

Also, the penis on the bullfrog's back.  I've seen bullfrogs eat mice, and despite the caption, you can't tell me the frog was being altruistic

Edit:  On closer inspection, its not a bullfrog.  Whatever the German equivalent is, they must be less...mammaliverous.

I imagine you are being a bit self-conscious, no? I can't imagine people would automatically assume something other than "hey that's a brother taking his younger sister shopping." Unless your town is in the middle of a pedophilia scare.
