Holy shit that is hawt.

Especially if you imagine my avatar being involved, instead of my actual self. That makes it cute, and not creeptastic, right?

Right?

Now I'm imagining both current avatars making out. I can work with that. My avatar is looking on disapprovingly.

And yes, I'm sorry it's not me, of course.

Or Judy.

She likes the young men (they all like the young men).

You're trying to kill me, that's what it is.

I'm not going to 'fess up, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's one of y'all. There are enough of you who are with me on Facebook that it might be someone you would recognize as a frequent commenter on my statii. That would make me extremely paranoid about interacting with him in "internet public," so I'm keeping my mouth clamped firmly shut.

Sorry to disappoint.

Edit: I do like the young men, but they tend to occupy more of my conscious mind. I've no qualms about that.

Well, that's it. I've banished the avatar thing and I'm just going to imagine you wrestling with Judy and inev. I'm equal opportunity that way.

Yesterday, in my waking life, I stopped for lunch at a really good burger stand in my neighborhood.  It was about 2:30 in the afternoon so there was only myself and two ladies together in the dining room.  One of the two ladies was morbidly obese.  I sat toward her facing her back.  I spent my entire lunch hating these two ladies.  They were loud, crass, stupid and mean.  I sat there boiling with hatred for these two, just staring into the back of this huge woman hoping to incinerate her and her friend with my mind .

Last night I had a dream where I was part of a group of unknown purpose.  There were about maybe 20 of us gathered together in a locker room.   The morbidly obese lady from lunch was a part of the group.  We were made to put on these special jumpsuits.  The jumpsuits had had weird zippers that ran up each side of the back over the shoulder blades.  The obese lady couldn't reach the zippers so I helped her.  Then she gave me head.

... that I was in Toronto for the rehearsal of my (non existant) next play, and none of my clothes fit, making me late.  Then my vehicle was having mechanical problems, so I had to hurry and try to take the subway, but I didn't know where I was going on the subway, and everyone was avoiding my requests for assistance, clearly thinking I was begging for change.  I eventually shouted at a guy using his iPhone "look, I don't want your money - I just need you to look up a phone number for me so I can figure out where I need to go!"  The guy reluctantly looked up the number and I was able to use my own old, non-smart phone to call someone at the theatre to come rescue me.  The person who turned up was one of my mentors from my current job, only she doesn't speak English well or know her way arround, but she assured me she knew where we needed to go.  Looking at a subway map, it was clear we needed to take the green line, and I wondered why I had missed that - it seemed so obvious.

So much frantic energy and frustration in that dream. I woke up feeling exhausted, and today's gonna be a long one.

...that I found a lost pug and brought it home with me to care for until we could find its owners. It was an all-black pug, which I recognized as unusual, but even stranger still, it had fawn-colored feet. Then I remembered that (in my dream) Wombat had posted pictures of her newest pugquisition, a black pug with fawn feet, and I thought it must be hers, that somehow it traveled all the way here and I was fortuitous enough to discover it. But alas, it wasn't Wombat's pug -- hers was safe and sound at home -- it belonged to a law firm, and they were using it as a mascot.

I didn't want to give it back to them, because they didn't seem like they were being nice to it. At the very least, it wasn't a home and family, like dogs need. It lived at the office and, while it was well-fed and -groomed, it still seemed lonely. But they were lawyers, after all, and I was afraid they'd take me to court if I didn't return their dog. I was still deciding what to do, and realizing that even though I didn't want to give it to them, I didn't actually want to become a dog owner, when I woke up.

So, thanks for that bizarre little foray into my subconscious, Wombles.

That's really funny. You can't blame me for the law firm, though.

I had another of those horrible dreams where I was still working for the university. I guess I thought I was on leave and they didn't, so they'd scheduled me to teach a class and I'd missed the first day. I was completely mortified. I felt so terrible that when I woke up I was afraid to go back to sleep in case I had the same dream again.

I don't know of anything that could have prompted this - I certainly have career worries at the moment but they're more about not having stuff to do, not about having stuff and not doing it. All I can figure is that it's almost September and my brain knows it.
