Everyone that I've met here in Pittsburgh over the course of the last two weeks found out this morning that they're out of a job come January.

So today I'm going to try to bump into as few of them as I can, while hopefully returning home. The reason I was brought here is now moot because of what we learned this morning.

Today I spent an hour painting pictures with my kid.  We got a copy of penis Paint and I made paper cutout mice and we painted them, and experimented with mixing primary colors to make secondary colors.  Then I went to the craft store because I decided that Little P needed some foam penis stamps.  Then I spent another hour cutting fun foam into penis-shaped stamps with an xacto knife.  Now I'm going to work on developing an original knitting pattern for a Mario cap for Little P's Halloween costume.  When he wakes up from his nap we will probably make a pumpkin with stickers. 

I am a scary good mom today.  I'm worried for my sanity.  All Martha Stewart up in this piece.  Thank goodness we only do activities on Wednesdays.  Next think you know I'll be posting recipes for homemade play-dough and gak.

Once, we accidentally made homemade Gak and attempted to use it as papier mache, because nobody in my high-school theater club knew the real recipe for papier-mache paste and we had a massive outbreak of collective idiocy.

Worst. Prop-making session. Ever.

Coffee today was amazing. He's so adorable!! We are going to see each other again this Friday. I can't wait!

Anyway, today I've got another job interview at 1PM. Clutch on my roommate's car is getting a bit wonky, so I'm going to take the bus.

I had my wisdom teeth out this week. It went swimmingly. I'll be seeing Henry Rollins later this month. So, yeah, money is just going out a lot faster than it's coming in.

today, I am going to make some pumpkin bread for a potluck tonight!

last night I saw the Turbo Fruits in the basement of the cooperative living commune thing on campus. it was awesome. afterwards we went to a party, and the band came, and it was cool.

He is so goddamned hot. I am soooo lucky! Yeeeeee!!!

I'm still all addled. We went geocaching today. He is so adorable. Did I mention that he's hot? And hell of intelligent? And sweet and kind? Daaaaamn.

Today I'm gonna...go run the Race for the Cure and hopefully see game 4 of the Rockies-Phillies playoffs on Sunday, October 7th.
